The laboratory mixer model HSM-100LCI-T from Charles Ross & Son Co. is a bench-top unit with interchangeable mixing attachments including batch and inline rotor/stator sets, various size disperser blades and propellers. The machine is capable of multiple mixing tasks, including powder wet-out and dispersion, deagglomeration/particle size reduction, solubilization, emulsification and homogenization. Standard features include: type 316 stainless steel wetted parts polished to a 150-grit finish; 1 HP, 115V, 50-60 Hz motor; variable speed control from 500-10,000 rpm; and color touch-screen controls with display for speed, percent of load, batch timer and temperature.
