Fischbein LLC offers its PBC 8000 series pinch bag closer, featuring a high-speed, direct-drive system. The closer is designed for high-volume bagging applications using pre-glued, multi-wall pinch-style paper bags. The PBC 8000's hot-air distribution system has three temperature-controlled heater manifolds, promoting faster production and less energy use, according to the company. Three independently controlled heat zones and an extended folder system produce seals of pre-glued bag flaps up to 2.5 inches. Fischbein's PBC 8000 accepts bags 12 to 20 inches wide and up to 56 inches long, with gussets of any size and a filled bag weight of 18 to 100 pounds.
