Diamond V recently welcomed Ilya Frumkin as Director of Companion Animal Business Development.
“I am pleased to announce Ilya has joined the Diamond V team,” says Kevin Larson, Director of Global Strategic Accounts for Diamond V. “In this new role, he will lead the development and execution of our companion animal business strategy in North America.”
Frumkin is a Chicago native where he earned his BS with honors in Marketing from DePaul University. Prior to joining Diamond V, he worked as Vice President of Marketing for Three Dog Bakery, a manufacturer of natural dog treat products and Vice President of Commercial Operations for Abaxis, Inc., a manufacturer of veterinary diagnostic equipment.
Frumkin brings more than 20 years of experience in strategic marketing, sales, and product management to the position, having held various executive marketing positions including as Senior Product Manager for Colgate-Palmolive, managing new product launches, promotion and overall business for Hill’s Science Diet Dog and Cat product lines.
“Ilya’s success in growing brands, revenue and profits for both new and established organizations within Pet Food & Treats as well as Human and Veterinary Life Sciences will be invaluable as Diamond V begins to expand into the companion animal market,” Larson adds.
