Dr. Marcial Guevara is the Global Product Technical Manager for Pets at Chr. Hansen. He is an experienced companion animal nutritionist, passionate about research, the microbiome, and companion animals. Prior to joining Chr. Hansen, Marcial worked at Mars Petcare as a Regulatory Scientist and at Procter & Gamble Pet Care as a clinical scientist. He obtained a DVM from the UCLA (Universidad Centroccidental Lisandro Alvarado) in Venezuela and then moved to the US to pursue an MSc and PhD in Animal Sciences at the University of Illinois.
