The AM 5200 is a grain moisture meter from Perten Instruments. The AM 5200 is a 150 MHz meter, which the company says has a die-cast aluminum cell and RF-electronics. The meter also has a color, touch screen and flow-through analysis for use in automatic sampling systems. The AM 5200 can also be used to analyze wheat, corn, and soybeans from -20 C to 45 C under NTEP approval, the company says. The AM 5200-A is certified by the US Department of Agriculture's Grain Inspection, Packers and Stockyards Administration, and has been approved for official moisture payment analysis in Serbia, Croatia, Romania and Tunisia.
