The 26th annual Pet Fair Asia will be held in Shanghai from August 21-25, 2024.

Pet Fair Asia 2024 will feature 2,500-plus exhibitors showcasing groundbreaking products for the pet industry in 300,000 square meters of exhibit space, the largest to date. The show's online visitor registration system, opened just over a month ago, shows a considerable increase for international visitor participation compared to 2023.

Pet Fair Asia said its goal is to encourage and facilitate the participation of the international professionals in a unique platform which brings together the vast opportunities the Asian markets have to offer.

Pet Fair Asia has observed the younger generation of pet owners in China is driving demand for smart and sophisticated gadgets. Known for its rapid innovation and quick adaptation to consumer needs and trends, China is also leading the way in the pet products industry. Pet Fair Asia showcases these innovations and cutting-edge technologies, making it a crucial hub for global pet businesses. As the largest and most comprehensive B2B event in China, the show offers a wide range of outsourcing solutions for pet businesses worldwide.

China is a key sourcing market for the pet industry

Building on the success of the 2023 event, the show will again offer the International Hosted Buyer program, a special hospitality package tailored for independent buyers who satisfy various criteria.

In addition to hand-picked buyers selected through the program, this year will also feature various international delegations for tailored business matchmaking, networking opportunities, and an enhanced experience. These delegations, coming from Southeast Asia, East Asia, North America, Europe, and more, are organized in partnership with regional industry stakeholders, associations, and international media partners.

According to the event, Asia, especially China, is a key sourcing market for the pet industry. The Chinese government continues to adopt an open approach to strengthening international partnerships and enhancing mutual trade. Notably, the waiver of entry visas for passport holders from major markets like Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Belgium, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, and others has made it easier for international participants to attend trade events in China.
