The Pet Sustainability Coalition (PSC) has been named a supporting partner for Petfood Forum 2025 and the Petfood Essentials pre-conference workshop, expanding its presence at one of the industry’s key annual events. The partnership with WATT Global Media underscores a growing emphasis on sustainability within the pet food sector.
PSC will co-lead the latest Petfood Essentials seminar on April 28, a full-day workshop focused on sustainability and designed to provide pet food professionals with practical tools to advance environmental goals. The session includes topics such as life cycle assessment (LCA), sustainable packaging, ingredient sourcing and benchmarking.
“I believe sustainability is one cornerstone to the future of the pet food industry,” said Steve Akins, executive vice president, publisher, Global Petfood & Events at WATT Global Media. “We’re proud to welcome the PSC team as a supporting partner that offers high-value content and community engagement.”
Allison Reser, director of Sustainability and Innovation at PSC, added, “I'm so excited to be part of the Petfood Forum this year, where I know innovation and action will intersect. We’re honored to work alongside the Petfood Forum team to equip pet food professionals with the tools and insights needed to lead sustainability in their organizations.”
In addition to its educational contributions, PSC will host a Networking Axe Throwing Party on April 29 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Blade & Timber in Kansas City. The event provides a casual opportunity for attendees to connect with other sustainability-focused professionals.
PSC will also exhibit at Booth #2642, where attendees can learn about sustainability strategies and PSC’s accreditation program. Several accredited PSC member companies will also exhibit at the show, including Alltech, ProAmpac, Mondi Jackson, Morris Packaging and others.
Petfood Forum 2025 takes place in Kansas City, Missouri, U.S., from April 28–30.
