Farmina Pet Foods introduced several new product developments at Global Pet Expo 2025 in Orlando, Florida, U.S., including its first-ever lines of functional dog treats and expanded offerings in its color-specific puppy food range.
The company unveiled two treat lines, N&D Dog Treats and VetLife Dog Treats, both set to launch later this spring. These new additions reflect a growing demand for functional pet treats, particularly those that support dental and overall health.
“Farmina is proud to showcase our newest innovations and our passion for better pet nutrition at Global Pet Expo,” said Loris Rinaldi, CEO of Farmina Pet Foods North America. “We’re very excited to launch our Functional Dental Treats and offer these new science-backed products to pet parents everywhere. Now Farmina can fill in the gaps beyond meal time and pet parents know they are getting a nutrient-dense treat that their pet will also enjoy.”
The N&D Dog Treats are designed to offer dental care along with specific functional benefits such as digestion, weight management, skin and coat support, and fresh breath. Made with whole animal proteins and available in 14 recipes, the treats will be offered in two sizes tailored to mini and medium/large breed dogs. Some formulas are designed to complement Farmina’s existing N&D Pumpkin and N&D Tropical Selection food lines.
The VetLife Dog Treats are formulated by veterinarians to help manage specific health concerns including gastrointestinal issues, food sensitivities, renal support, joint care and obesity. These treats are also made with whole animal proteins and aim to support dietary compliance while maintaining palatability. Seven functional varieties will be available through veterinary clinics nationwide.
Farmina also introduced N&D Brown Puppy and N&D White Puppy, additions to its Brown and White Color Protection food lines. These formulas are tailored to support coat vibrancy and overall wellness in young dogs.
To help pet owners select the best options for their pets, the company continues to promote its Farmina Genius AI, a digital nutrition assistant available online and through the App Store.
