Antelope, a provider of premium pet care products and services, acquired My Perfect Pet, a brand of ‘gently cooked’ dog and cat food founded in 2007 by Karen Neola.
My Perfect Pet makes nutritionally balanced pet food crafted from ingredients such as beef, turkey, broccoli and cranberries. The brand employs a blend of cooked meat and raw veggies, finely ground to aid digestion. The resulting blended food is formed into bars and frozen, eliminating the need for preservatives. Complying with the standards set by the Associate of American Feed Control Officials (AAFCO), My Perfect Pet foods are produced in a human food-safe facility owned and operated by the brand.
