In May, Yvonne Hsu began her new position as president and general manager of Hill’s Pet Nutrition U.S. division. Hsu replaces Nicki Baty, who left the company to pursue other professional opportunities after serving in the role since September 2020.

With 25 years of tenure at Hill’s parent company, Colgate-Palmolive, Hsu takes on the new role as a strategic business leader with a track record of achieving substantial portfolio growth for multiple brands, said the company.

Most recently, Hsu served as executive vice president of global innovation and growth at Hill’s after joining the pet food company in 2018 as marketing director.

The company noted Hsu played a fundamental role in the creation of digital and analytics capabilities that has driven growth for Hill’s and positively influenced the broader parent enterprise of Colgate-Palmolive.

“Her strategic leadership has shaped the 2025 strategic plan, as well as initiatives to deliver against those commitments,” the company said. “Under her guidance, Hill’s has delivered a new Brand Promise Framework, robust three-year innovation grids, continued expansion of our digital ecosystem, and the building of Hill’s data foundation.”

Hsu has a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University and an MBA from Cornell University’s SC Johnson Graduate School of Management.

According to Petfood Industry's Top Pet Food Companies listing, Hill's Pet Nutrition sells more than 300 products, principally through authorized pet supply retailers and veterinarians in more than 80 countries worldwide. Hill's operates major manufacturing and warehousing facilities in Bowling Green, Kentucky; Topeka, Kansas; Emporia, Kansas; and Richmond, Indiana, U.S. Its primary research center is located in Topeka. Hill's also runs major manufacturing and warehousing facilities in the Czech Republic and the Netherlands.
