Doctors Foster and Smith, a Rhinelander, Wisconsin, USA-based manufacturer, Internet and catalogue retailer of pet products, recently announced the debut of its dog food and dog furniture at Target beginning July 15, 2007. This marks the first time the company will be selling its products on retail shelves. Doctors Foster and Smith unveiled a line of dog food (dry and canned) and a paw-print dog bed and furniture throw that will begin selling at the 898 Target stores. The company develops food, nutritional supplements, training aids, pet care and grooming goods and more, according to a recent press release.

Of the 15,000 products that are available through Drs. Foster and Smith's catalog and websites, the emphasis on end caps in 898 Target stores will be dog products. Beginning with dry and canned dog food and two additional furniture items, the throw being sold at Target is reportedly the most popular print in the Doctor Foster and Smith dog-product furniture line.
