American Nutrition, a custom manufacturer that produces pet food and treats for branded companies and retailers, was pleased to make a donation of $5,000 to Hazle Township Fire and Rescue to help buy a new rescue truck. The donation was made in the name of the company’s Hazleton, PA. manufacturing plant, Vita-Line Pet Products.
“Firefighters from Hazle Township Fire and Rescue play a huge role in helping the community on a daily basis,” said CEO and President Bill Behnken. “As a company who experienced that support and commitment first-hand, we are grateful to be able to give back and show our support for all they do.”
The donation will help Hazle Twp. Fire and Rescue purchase a heavy rescue truck that will respond to industrial accidents, motor vehicle accidents and also rescues that require ropes.
